Superconformal Symmetry and Quantum Error Correction

There exist special two-dimensional conformal field theories with large, sporadic symmetry groups. In several cases these CFTs also have superconformal symmetry and the construction of the supercurrent can be understood using the theory of quantum error correcting codes.
