In memory of Vaughan Jones (1952-2020)

The Institute was greatly saddened to learn of the death of Professor Vaughan Jones (co-organiser of the 2017 programme "Operator algebras: subfactors and their applications" on 6 September 2020, and our deepest condolences go to his family, friends and colleagues for their loss.
